For a single instrument, tell us what it is, who made it, the range or capacity, the tolerance that applies and the date it is next due. If the instrument has a history folder, mention the last certificate so we can compare as-found drift against the earlier result. If the tool is critical to a production line or a safety function, say so, because that shapes the interval and the priority. Include the identifier or asset number printed on the tool so the record matches the item on the floor.
For a rack or a sensor chain, list the devices, the quantity of test points and any route that your quality system has already defined. If you are building a calibration program from the beginning, tell us the process, the tolerances and the audit framework you are working to, and we will propose a route, an interval and a certificate format that fits it.
Include a preferred contact, a delivery or collection window, and any handling or safety requirement that applies to the instrument. If an item is contaminated or carries a hazard, say so before it is sent so the laboratory can prepare. If you need the work completed before a shutdown, a customer audit or a shipping deadline, state the date and we will confirm whether the turnaround can meet it.

How long does a calibration take?
Most single instruments are completed within two to five business days after intake, depending on the service and the number of test points. Racks of transducers or instruments that need stabilisation may take longer. Turnaround is quoted at intake and tracked against the recall calendar.
Can you collect instruments from our site?

What should we send with an instrument?
Send the instrument, its identifier, the stated tolerance or the drawing reference, and the required due date. If the instrument has a history folder, include the last certificate so the interval and the as-found drift can be compared. We add it to the asset registry unless you ask us not to.
